Simultaneous Interpretation

Simultaneous Interpretation

It is the immediate reproduction, almost in real time, of a speech or dialogue in a different language to the one spoken by the person who is talking.

Undoubtedly, it is a way of communication that allows to eliminate any language barriers and, hence, to share knowledge or carry out negotiations with other people during a congress or a work session.

Interpreters require an excellent knowledge of both languages, as well as the specific terminology for the event in order to perform their activities in the best way possible.

There is also the Remote Simultaneous Interpretation, or RSI, which consists on performing the same activity, but remotely, or from a different site where the speaker is giving his speech or conference. The current technology enables the participation of all the attendees from all around the world without any communication barriers.
